Write the thinkingbehind the work.

Briefs, decisions and project knowledge belong close to the people doing the work. Create structured pages and connect them to tasks and the canvas.

Project briefs · Meeting notes · Decision records · Team knowledge

01

A document that fits your thinking

Combine headings, checklists, tables, columns and collapsible sections. Add code, formulas, images and attachments without breaking the flow.

02

From a sentence to a next step

Select text to create a task with an assignee and due date. Keep a task reference in the page and a link back to the original document.

03

Knowledge with a place and a history

Organise nested pages, inspect incoming and outgoing references and revisit saved revisions. Restore pages from the trash and export your writing as Markdown or print.

01

Choose a block that makes the explanation clearer

Type / in an empty paragraph to insert headings, lists, a Task List, Toggle List, Blockquote or Code Block. Use Table of Contents to give a long page a visible route, and collapse supporting detail while keeping it close to the main explanation. The text-selection toolbar adds inline formatting, code and Latex formulas. Keep a checklist inside the page for a small review, or turn selected action text into a tracked issue when it needs its own record.

02

Find the exact passage and change it in context

Select a document on the canvas and open Search and replace. Enter a literal phrase in Find text, inspect the match counter and use Next or Previous to read each occurrence in context. Add the new wording in Replace with, test Replace on one match and use Replace all when the remaining occurrences should change together. Close the panel to clear the highlights. In focus view, Find a document instead searches the document library by title and available page content.

03

Connect the source, the passage and the action

Use Link page beside the title to reference a project page or a specific heading, and Link issue to connect existing work by title or issue key. Links and references brings outgoing destinations, incoming Referenced by entries and the On this page outline together. Incoming links are derived from page contents available in the current project library. Copy page link or Copy link to heading gives a reader a precise destination within their existing project access.

Compare local saved versions before restoring

In the offline document experience, Version history lets you choose a saved baseline under From and compare it with Current page or another revision. Review added and removed text, title changes and page-detail notices before choosing Restore this version. Confirm restore applies the baseline while preserving the current saved page in recent history. The selector shows device-local versions, bounded to 50 per page within a shared 1 MB history budget; live pages currently show no saved versions here.

Give project knowledge a structure readers can follow

Create a New document from Documents and use Add subpage to give supporting topics their own place beneath an entry page. Document options includes rename, duplicate, Move…, sibling ordering and Move to Trash; the Trash tab offers Restore. Open a selected canvas document in Focus mode to browse the page library beside the writing. Find a document finds titles and available body text, while Return to canvas takes you back to the visual project context.

Choose a portable text or a readable handout

Copy Markdown takes headings, lists, code and tables into a text editor, while Print / PDF opens a print-ready page through the browser’s print workflow. Inspect the pasted text or page preview before sharing the result. In an offline deployment, Files and export also packages page details and local attachment versions with Export copy; Import copy creates a new page. Those portable bundles keep comment threads and history with the original, so choose the copy that fits the next use.

Compare options with tables and parallel explanations

Insert Table from the slash menu for a three-by-three starting grid, then use its row and column edge menus to add or remove structure. Put labels in the first row and keep comparable facts under the same criterion. Columns places related explanations side by side with Two columns, Sidebar left or Sidebar right layouts. Separately, Page width offers Narrow, Normal and Wide reading surfaces so a comparison table and its surrounding narrative remain comfortable to read.

Keep local review questions beside their context

Select a passage and choose Comment to anchor a question, or use Page comments for feedback about the whole document. Threads support replies, a Resolved switch and Open, Resolved or All filters with counts. Show in page returns to an existing text anchor so you can inspect the evidence before resolving the thread. These comments are saved on this device in the current project, giving your local review notes a clear place alongside the writing.

Turn a written action into a linked issue

Select the action text and choose Create issue from selection. The form prefills Issue title and offers Assignee and Due date before Create and link issue. The resulting Task uses the project’s default workflow status and keeps a source-page link in its description; the document gains an issue reference in return. Follow that reference to check the saved task. Task records follow the browser-local project boundary, while the document reference stays part of the page’s content.
